Expansion Joints:
CANZAC Expansion Joint Filler:
Canzac Expansion Joint Filler is supplied in a range of depths and thicknesses. The strip is cut through about 90% of the thickness. When the concrete has cured the small strip can readily be torn off, leaving a gap to take in sealant.
Description
Canzac Expansion Joint is made from a closed cell foam, crosslinked by irradiation to endow the foam with superior mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance. It is supplied in strip sections, and is used as bond breaking strips for elastomeric sealants.
- Readily compressable
- Low load transfer
- Available in a range of thickness depths.

Applications
Canzac Expansion Joint filler is commonly used in buildings where movement is accommodated by expansion joints, in vertical and horizontal joints, between units of precast concrete curtain walling; in construction where it is used as a resiliant backfill which is easy to install and position prior to sealing with compound.
Canzac Expansion Joint is used as an anti-vibration pad or non-load transfer filler in both precast and in-situ concrete structures.
