Formwork Systems:
Rebox rebating system for use in pre-cast, high rise, tilt up and car parks. A floor to wall rebate joint system.
Rebox Rebating System:
 The Rebox System is a unique system designed to provide a rebate for shear load transfer and continuity of steel reinforcement for reinforced concrete connection details (e.g. wall to slab, wall to wall).
The Rebox System comprises of a uniquely dimpled galvanised metal rebated fabricated to hold a range of different reinforcement bar sizes (eg. Y12 and Y16).
This metal rebate can be manufactured to suit any required design depth or size of rebate allowing effective shear load transfer at the connection.
When connecting adjacent concrete pours there is a requirement to rough up (ie. Scabble) the adjoining concrete surfaces to ensure positive concrete connection, due to the uniquely dimpled rebate surface this task is eliminated. The manufacture of the metal rebate is in two C-shaped halves, this construction allows the unit to be easily opened after installation to expose the contained reinforcement bar (ie pullout bars).
