Formwork Systems:
Zemdrain a compositive filter/net liner for multiple use with minimal risk of folding. Easier to use with circular concave, convex and compliacted formwork shapes.
Zemdrain:
Zemdrain® is a Controlled Permeability Formliner (CPF) made from fine polypropylene fibres assembled in such a way as to create a sheet with a large number of fine pores of controlled size, with appropriate porosity and permeable to water and air.
The two sides of the fabric are different and have different functions :
The draining side collects air and water and allows their evacuation at the interface with the shuttering. It is composed either by black coarse fibres, embossed (Zemdrain® 'Classic') or by a specially shaped plastic grid (Zemdrain® MD).
The filtering side retains the cement particles at the surface of the concrete so that a dense, strong covercrete is obtained. It is composed of very fine fibres bonded in a way that will not stick to the concrete. Fibres are 'grey' for Zemdrain® Classic, and 'white' for Zemdrain® MD. No release agent shall be applied on Zemdrain®.
