System-K (Slabs without Mesh):

There’s no new technology. Just a combination of well-proven technologies to produce a new system that provides amazing benefits to the owner.

Without shrinkage cracks:
Since the concrete tries to expand rather than shrink, cracks are dramatically reduced or totally eliminated.

Without joints:
Construction joint spacing of 45 metres and more is common. ACI states that “….contraction joints are eliminated….”.

Without curling:
The concrete tries to reverse curl (lift up in the middle), but the weight of the concrete prevents that and the slab stays flatter.

Without spalling:
Cracks and joints that don’t exist can’t spall.

Minimal maintenance:
Without cracks, joints and curling, maintenance is minimal.

With Lower life-cycle costs:
Costs about the same or less initially, but saves a lot in the long term.
