CANFORM® PLASTIC FORMWORK/BOXING

CANFORM® is a lightweight, reusable plastic formwork system designed to make concrete boxing faster, cleaner and easier to adjust.

Suitable for both straight and radius applications, CANFORM provides a practical alternative to conventional timber boxing for footpaths, driveways and other small- to medium-sized concrete projects.

The lightweight plastic formboards are easy to handle, position and adjust. When used with CANZAC DURA-PIN forming stakes and camlocks, the form height can be unlocked, raised or lowered and secured again within seconds, without repeatedly hammering nails into timber boxing.

CANFORM formboards can also be stacked where additional form height is required. After the concrete has been placed and the formwork stripped, the boards can be cleaned with a damp cloth and reused on future projects.

_{Faster Setup and Adjustment}

Traditional timber boxing often requires repeated measuring, nailing and repositioning to establish the correct line and level.

CANFORM streamlines this process when used with DURA-PIN forming stakes and camlocks. The camlock can be released with one hand, allowing the formboard to be raised, lowered or repositioned before being locked securely back into place.

This makes final line and level adjustments quicker and reduces the time spent fixing and removing nails or screws.

_{Straight and Radius Forming}

CANFORM formboards can be used for conventional straight concrete edges or configured to follow radius layouts.

This allows one reusable formwork system to accommodate driveways, footpaths, paths, patios and other concrete flatwork incorporating both straight and curved edge profiles.

The correct stake spacing must be used to maintain the required line, radius and finished concrete profile during placement. We reccomend a spacing of 600mm for flexible boards and every metre for Rigid boards.

_{Stackable Formwork system}

CANFORM formboards can be stacked where a greater form height is required.

Each board must be adequately supported and secured to maintain the correct line, level and stability during concrete placement. Confirm with CANZAC that the selected arrangement is appropriate for the concrete depth and anticipated concrete pressure.

_{DURA-PIN Stakes and Camlocks}

For the quickest installation and adjustment, use CANFORM with CANZAC DURA-PIN forming stakes and camlocks.

The camlock secures the formboard to the stake without conventional nailing and allows rapid height adjustment. This system speeds up formwork installation, adjustment and stripping while helping maintain an accurate finished profile.

_{Reusable Plastic Boxing}

Unlike timber boxing, CANFORM does not absorb water, swell or splinter during use.

After stripping, remove any concrete residue and wipe the formboards clean before storage. Correct handling and cleaning will extend the usable life of the system and maintain the quality of the finished concrete edge.

_Installation

1. Set out the required concrete edge, line and finished level.
2. Position the CANFORM formboard along the set-out line.
3. Install DURA-PIN forming stakes at suitable centres.
4. Secure the board using CANFORM camlocks.
5. Release the camlocks to adjust the height, line or radius.
6. Re-lock the system and confirm the final position.
7. Apply Eco fix form oil to the boards.
8. Place and finish the concrete.
9. Strip, clean and store the CANFORM components for reuse.
