The speed dowel is a 3 part system , 1 being the Base plate , which is nailed/screwed to your timber boxing , the speed dowel sleeve slips over the base plate , the concrete is then poured. Timber boxing is then stripped , and the dowel gets inserted into the sleeve , then the next concrete pour can proceed.
