In this edition:

Stadium ONE , Christchurch’s new premier sports and entertainment venue, is well underway - with over 12,000m² of Speedform® and 7,000 lifting anchors supplied to lift the bleachers and main staircase into place . We also highlight the application of Convergent surface treatments across 40,000m² of concrete and acknowledge the skilled local contractors bringing this landmark project to life.

We present DualCast - The next-generation stay-in-place Full depth construction joint system designed to accelerate your pour schedule and simplify slab construction. It can be supplied with a range of dowel systems and is made from rigid recycled UPVC, and eliminates the need for stripping wooden boxing - delivering consistency and efficiency on site.

Canute on Concrete, we explain why joint armouring is a critical element in industrial slab design. The slab is the working surface of the facility and protecting its joints is key to long-term performance. Armoured joints protect the arisses from impact and wear, prevent spalling, and maintain load transfer under the stress of hard wheels and heavy traffic. The result? Fewer repairs, less downtime, and a floor that performs. The real question is: Why wouldn’t you Armour the joints?
