The CANZAC® DOMINATOR DOWEL SYSTEM is a high-performance plate dowel system designed to provide effective load transfer across concrete construction joints while allowing horizontal slab movement in 2 directions.
Combining a constant-width steel plate with a tapered sleeve, the system allows increasing lateral movement as the construction joint opens while maintaining reliable vertical load transfer between adjoining slab panels.
Designed for fast, accurate installation, the nail-on sleeve fixes directly to the formwork, helping eliminate dowel misalignment and simplifying construction joint installation. Manufactured in New Zealand and available in black or hot-dip galvanised steel, DOMINATOR is engineered for demanding concrete floor and pavement applications.
With the range of floor construction techniques available, the selection of the dowels must suit the design of the floor, and adequately allow for slab movement, while still retaining adequate load capacity.
